In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam’s etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.
What You’ll Do
- Verify chemical resistance of new or existing components when exposed to defined chemical
- Conduct material related tests for characterization and/or compatibility
- Drive material related failure analysis from units returned from field
- Test and define hardware limits related to chemical properties (viscosity, concentration, temperature, etc.)
- Drive the release of new chemicals on customer requests in alignment with design, safety & process
- Provide collected technical data in trade-off tables to summarize useable materials in the design/redesign phases with correlated risks
- Drive concept and feasibility projects
Who We’re Looking For
- Master's degree in material science, mechanical engineering, chemistry or any related field
- Education program shall have a strong affinity to plastic materials and laboratory experience
Preferred Qualification
- Work experience of more than two years in the field of material science beneficial
- MS Office Knowledge mandatory
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English
- Technical understanding and good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and focus on detail
- Experience in semiconductor industry preferred
What We're Offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E or F depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
