Operational Technology Lead (all genders)

Oversee the operation technology, Manufacturing systems ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently. Collaborate with production teams to address IT-related issues impacting manufacturing processes. Implement and maintain IT solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality control. Ensure the security and reliability of manufacturing systems, including backups and disaster recovery plans.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure OT projects are delivered on time and within budget, minimizing any impact on OT environments.
- Act as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing OT business units, providing guidance on BU projects and ensuring adherence to Lam OT Standards and procedures.
- Participate in global OT alignment meetings.
- Collaborate with both engineering and manufacturing teams to address IT-related issues that affect production.- Implement and maintain IT solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality control.
- Implement and maintain IT solutions to enhance engineering efficiency and quality control.- Ensure the security and reliability of all OT systems, including backups and disaster recovery plans.
Other Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the OT Team and its dedicated assigned activities and duties.
- This position may require occasional travel between business units or off-site locations.
- Availability for on-call support or after-hours work may be necessary to address critical IT issues.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience) >15 years working experience
- Ability to utilize problem management database and systems to track and report on customer calls and requests
- Strong logical and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate baseline security skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve core service and support challenges while applying best practices for documentation, change management, and scripting
- Ability to find root causes of problems and quickly determine efficient solutions
- Experience in device security solutions
- Proficiency with relevant business systems, operating systems and Office 365 environment
- Good troubleshooting understanding of networking concepts (e.g. Systems, Protocols, Directory Services)
- Make sure that the team can handle the daily OT tasks

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
