Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation in support of Lam’s cutting-edge semiconductor equipment and systems. Characterize material properties of wet chemical components, research its chemical composition and ensure their compatibility with process and hardware. Develop and sustain new chemical processes and process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields. Compile and analyze test data to establish innovative process development, determine appropriate limits and variables for process specifications and identify process improvement opportunities. Work in an interdisciplinary team Design and development of process chambers and its key components for wet chemical processing Support the life cycle of process chamber and key components, from concept to productization including conceptualization, designing, CAD modeling, development, and test/validation. Designs components using variety of plastics, metals, and advanced coatings. Ensure documentation aligns with SEMI, Lam standards, and industry best practices for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Create geometries for advanced modeling (FEM, CFD, multiphysics) Implementation & validation of modeling results, ensuring manufacturability to properly specify designs. Develop and conduct feasibility studies and test plans to characterize and validate design performance. Prepare high-quality reports and technical presentations to clearly communicate design intent, evaluation, and validation to a diverse audience in design reviews. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions can be manufactured with high-quality, cost-optimized, and to requirements. Collaborate with sustaining engineering, production & field engineering to ensure sustainable technology Provide key deliverables, risk asessment, test specifications, and review presentations.
